There are 4 scenes in this film. At first they are on the way to the Aretakis Ranch and stopped on the side of the road for a break.

Next, the scene moves to Stockton, CA, in front of John and Harriette's house with Mitchell being less than 1 year old.

Next, they finally arrive at the Aretakis Ranch and prepare for the feast to follow the engagement of Angelo Markoulakis and Chrisoula Aretakis.

Then the scene moves to [we don't know where], possibly downtown Stockton, where the young couples strut their stuff.

  • man u have amazing HISTORICAL footage!!!!!!!

  • Thank you...or rather thank my Father, god rest his soul. All of these people are first and second generation Cretans...in America.

  • Thanks for the comments. I wish I could take the credit, but the fact is, my father spent hundreds of hours editing and working with little reels of film to produce these. I'm just thrilled, as my mother is as well, that we have received so much interest about these little family movies. Enjoy!

  • Hi John, I was in contact with the grandson of the rabbiter in this video, he passed the link on to me, and I have uploaded it onto my blog in an up-and-coming post which will appear on Sunday. I hope you like how I used it. Filakia
