Update:The music nazi killed my original soundtrack--so enjoy the 'free' Utube music..

These are some pictures I took during a shop job on a Williams TAXI pinball machine. The game had a lot of wear around bumpers and upper lane guide. I tried learning to use an Airbrush and flame polishing of ramps. I also made reproduction replacement art for the bumpers and topper. The game had full body Mylar, and I was too chicken to try and remove it, thus no clear coating. It turned out nice I think!

  • Nice job!

Did you print off those pop bumber rings or get them off of a website?

I am working on a High-Speed machine and need my pop bumber rings replaced.

I also need all the indicator stickers replaces as most of those the ball wore off.

And the ramp for it is pretty much trash and need a new one. o.o

Not to mention a thorough cleaning on all parts inside and out.

Lesson learned though getting an arcade machine = lots of problems and lots of cleaning.

  • @PinBallReviewer I made the rings myself. I wrote a VB program to draw the colored rings and then printed them on a color laser printer. Cut them out, and applied them 3M adhesive. Covering them with mylar rings should make sure they last a long time.

I do a lot of scaning and then 'photoshop' work to replace worn/missing art work on games. Good luck to you and your games!
