everyone who says bass is gay,should start a band in any genre,jazz,rock,metal,punk whatever,every song would sound lame without bass.a bas sis the fucking solid ground of any band its just as important as a rythm guitar or a lead guitar or a drum set.or hink of an orchestra without the k-bass.it would sound so lame. but people who have any little knowledge of music knows this.me as a bass player the whol discussion of "BASS IS GAY AND LAME AND BLA BLA" is just stupid retarded kindergarten talk

@tmdp76 If you think that i was having a "dig" at homosexuals, you are mistaken. If you understood the concept of the human language especially English, you would understand that the meanings of a word or many words change over time. Such as gay originally meant to be "happy", then it went to the meaning of being a homosexual. when i said "gay" i was using it in the context of something being "bad", "silly", "stupid" ect.. Im sorry if you took it out of context and/or offended you.

If you think bass sucks you just don't know that it is the second most important instrument in any style of music. Bass and drums are the rhythm, which in football terms they would bee the linemen. If you listen to music you hear the bass. The bass moves you, it sets the grove.

@BeDaMusik That's the truth! Bass adds depth and helps keep everybody on the same page. It translates the drums for the guitar. Every band needs a bassist =) I love playing bass a hell of a lot more than plaing guitar that's for sure, and people do need to appreciate us bassist.
