The secrets of "The Four Medical Mantra's", the ancient sourcebook of the Tibetan Amchi's (doctors). With Rutger Hauer as "The Reader" and Amchi Rigzin Todup Lharje as "Himself". Short experimental film. Parts of the original Super 16 Filmmaterial were remasterd using pocketcam ("Shitty-cam", a Samsung NV10). "Translating..." (as someone said:) "... the ancient Tibettan subject matter, a handwritten book, into the compressed language of our time".

There will be a high quality 35 mm film-print available for festival sreening.
