REMINDER ATM387 Holding the big toes- straightening the legs is a great version of the full length lesson that allows a process for adding hamstring length and a decrease in back and neck pain. Move gently and easily. Remember less is more...and never move into pain!

  • Wow. I recently tore my biceps femoris, lateral collateral ligament and my anterior cruciate ligament. Which resulted in me developing extremely tight hamstrings and after doing this once they feel amazing. Thank you for everything. I will definitely be doing this everyday from now on

  • @Eazymello24 Wow! that's an amazing injury! To tear your ACL, LCL and BF tendon is a toughie! I am glad you got some relief with this movement pattern. Check out some of the others so you dont get stagnate! Enjoy and keep me in the loop with your progress!

  • I tried this (along with the "shin box" exercise and a couple of others) for about 30 minutes, and then discovered when I lay back down in corpse pose that my feet now showed the same amount of "external rotation". That hasn't been the case in years, no matter what I did - left hip and groin always kept the left food pointing almost straight up. This is a very exciting result!

  • @JDBoelter Great job! its amazing to me that the small stuff really takes care of some deep seated challenges...but if we think of it as building the foundation then it makes sense! Enjoy your ability to open your hips in a new way!

  • I have very tight hamstrings (an interesting imbalance as my quads have always been naturally well developed) and have tried various exercises which always ended tensing me up more. With yoga, for example, which generally is quite effective, one issue I've found when it comes to asanas involving the hamstring is the insistance on keeping a straigt back. Your exercise looks like just the thing I've been looking for! I'll report again in a few months to let you know my results. Thanks 4 post!

  • @b00i00d Have fun with this one and let me know your progress! What I have found is that the more variety you provide your system, the greater the outcome. when we try to address one single "challenge" we often get derailed because our brain works hard on keeping our system safe...when we go at the problem with a curve ball and through a different door using innovative movement that your brain finds interesting...we have massive changes! Good luck!!! I look forward to your success!
