yup poor things definately got blocked anal glands, it drives them mad as it gets worse rapidly needs treatment by a vet. Eventually they just yelp for no apparent reason and go and run around and hide and sulk and jump and alsorts of odd things - all for no apparent reason, but thats the cause !

@deborahhanrahan do all staffies eat grass allot cause mine does and we stop him but when were not watching him he does and one day my dad phoned the vet cuz there was crass hanging out and the vet said just pull it out ouchhhhhhhhh

Agree - it's not worms but anal gland problems. Apparently it can be a problem for Staffs who are eating food which is too soft. It means when they do a toilet, it is too soft to clear the anal glands. Our Harry would 'carpet surf' until we switched him to dry food, as per vet's instructions (who also has a staff dog). He hasn't done it since.
