Wild Tchoupitoulas is one of my all-time favorite albums. Whoever thinks this is "unlistenable" doesn't know f-all about American music, funk, New Orleans, the Meters, or how to find his ass with both hands.

The best thing the Neville brothers ever did, and good that they did it while Big Chief Jolly was still alive.
If you don't like it, some people don't know, and you can't tell em either.

The best part about this music, the stories come from real people living real lives - this IS based on a true story. Another glorious and beautiful side to the majesty which is New Orleans.

Then why did you buy it? That's just dumb you really shouldn't buy stuff like this if you don't already know the songs

Whoops, my fingers weren't workin or I'd had an Abita or to too many (if there is such a thing) I meant to type "Nwalns". My misspelling might be fine for some Northerner from Baton Rouge. With the "i" it infers two syllables.
I remember listening to a Cajun station heading in to Baton Rouge when they said "Now we gonna play "Opelouses Sostain", whatever that means"-and that was when it was one of the most played songs in Acadiana. Common' sa Vas!

Ahahah just the way you write "Nawlin's" sums it all up! I think I understand, my parents are creole, but from another part of this not so big world, and I often got in touch with the concept of not understanding absolutely everything that's being said :) People want to rationalize things too much.
