The truth about giving. Exdous Chapter 20:vers.17 Thou shalt not covet any thing that is thy neighbour's. The 10th commandment.
-
Matthew 25... is the key. Give to the least of these.

God doesn't change, but it is obvious in the Bible what he wants us to do (law vs. grace) has changed. Saying that you should still tithe because God doesn't change is invalid. He still wants us to give, that didn't change & that is who God is, how He wants us to give did change, and that doesn't change anything about who God is. Just because how we are to give changed doesn't mean that God has changed. Weak argument.

the only thing that I have to Add is this. First by asking a question does God change. And the answer is No. Malachi 3:6 starts by saying that he is the lord that never changes, after that he goes directly into the tithe issue. Now I am sooo for what he is saying about a cheerful giver and to give not just for gain, but out of a pure heart, however i do beleive that people need a standard and God sets the standard for everything and the tenth is the one he set for giving.and realy thats not alot

@ivanasimic1 That's true, but, the Bible is not the NT, it's the OT AND NT. Yahshuah (Jesus) said Himself that the Law (Torah, really means instructions) would not be done away with until Heaven and Earth passed away. They are both still here, so we must consider that. He fulfilled the Spring Feasts of the Lord to the very day and did away with the sacrificial ordinances, but everything else is still very much in effect. The Fall feasts will be fulfilled as foretold in Revelation.

First Pray, ask GOD In The Name of JESUS, and read the bible through the guidance of THE HOLY SPIRIT. Answer the first three questions:
In The Old Testament:
1. Whom was the Tithe given to and why?
2. What is the difference between the Priests and the Levites.
In The New Testament:
3. Why was NO TITHING ASKED BY ANY APOSTLE?
4. Correction: "to the least of these MY BRETHREN, you did it to ME" Matt 25:40

@chog8 Well I have prayed about it, and the loving answer I received from YHWH was this.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
And from John 3:16,For God so loved the WORLD, and Romans 5:8, But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Love your enemies, LOVE them. How were you saved? Love and grace.

@chog8 I have found that tithing is only done by those who love. I don't know the children in 3rd world countries, but I give anyways because they need our, and our Father's love. We love because He first loved all of us, even when we didn't deserve it.
If we don't show love to others, how will they know there is a loving Father in Heaven waiting for them? We're His hands and feet, His face, His ambassadors on Earth as the Bible calls us, we had better act like it.

@chog8 Answer to #3 btw is they didn't have to, Acts 2 clearly shows the love each person had for one another, so they gave anyways.
#1, tithe is given to the Lord's storage house, who does the provision go to? I assume as He is YHWH-Jireh, to whomever is in need.
#2, Irrelevant. Since the veil was torn and the first feasts of the Lord were fulfilled by Yeshua there is centrally no more need for them. Yeshua is our High Priest.
#4, already answered.
