Okay, if you're 12 years or younger, I can understand if you're confused as to whether or not the whole Blair Witch story is real or not. It isn't, but no matter your age, a little Googling will tell you everything you need to know.

According to the wiki the the actors where told to go into the woods and were told where to go via milk crates with gbs and were giving limited information on what they where doing while other crew members stalked and terrorized them at night. Even mentions that most of the ppl interviewed where planted actors. The documentary you are watching now was created to "sell" the movie.
