After running light engine on the Maryborough Ararat line, G528 slowly pulls 21 VHGY VHGF wagons back to the Ararat yard for reactivation into service after spending about 2 years at this location and a number of years before this in Portland
The wagons had been stationary for two years. Were any bearings lubricated or otherwise checked beforehand? The location must have been remote enough to ensure the vehicles remained almost graffiti-free.
@fernald10 There is some heavily graffitied wagons further down on the ex NSW wagons but I think they must of been on there before they were placed there. Plus this was the road or exposed side that was recored, I'm sure there could be alot of graffiti on the other side of the wagons that side is hidden from the road
