i think in a fair race the eclipse would prove to be just as formidable as the SS. I have the Eclipse GS and it does 0-100 in under 7 secs so im sure the GT could do better. Endurance wise, the Eclipse would last longer gallon for gallon as a 5.3 L SS would burn dry, even if its not turbo. But with the price of gas, performance just isn't worth it these days and in the future you can expect to see fewer V8's and V6's.

lol funny part is if u didnt get early start on the go he still would of beat you, sure the specs on ss are superior but think the wieght holds it down vs a light car like the eclipse

you cant have 1 person say go because obviously they will know when to go first...to truly race stop the car then have someone else other than the driver say when to go...goodluck
