CAN'T HAVE YOU - episode 5 part 2

MILEY'S POV.

school.

calculus starts at 8am. nick and i arrived at 8:30. we are so dead.

we entered the room and everyone looked at us. nick was holding our project and we both looked at our teacher. "well so nice of the two of you to join us" she said, and we both stared at her and nick gestured on trying to hand her our project.

"please just put that on my table. and i'll see you two in detention" whaaatt?! detention?! is she kidding me?! we both frowned and got to our seats. i didn't try to complain. i knew it would just mean nothing. she wouldn't listen.

SELENA'S POV.

my day was starting okay. i had a good start with my first classes. the school bell rang indicating that it was lunch already.

i sat at my usual table. sitting across joe jonas. too usual. i ate watching him watch taylor swift. too usual. i wonder where's nick?

just as i was wondering he suddenly puffs out and pokes me from behind. "hey lena!" he sat beside me. ehh? he never sat beside me.

"sup?" i asked.

"not much" he mumbled. "be late.. or maybe not gonna go home after school later. i got detention"

"you what?!"

"late for class. blah blah." he explained while taking a bite of his sandwich.

"kaay" i finished my lunch and heard the school bell rang. time for class. well.. that's for the rest of the school. i got free period at the moment.

i decided to head to the school's football field to get some fresh air. i sat down at a bench.. at the top of the bench, opened my book and started reading. aahh leisure time. this sure is fun.

i heard someone clear his throat. i looked up and saw a guy. pfft.

"you are?" he asked. and i answered "i'm sorry what?"

he sighed and sat at the same row of the bench. except he was two meters away from me. weird guy. pssh. i just continued reading my book.

once again i heard someone clear his throat. "hi" he said. i looked up and said hello back.

"i'm david. you are?" he was reaching his hand out for me. i grabbed it and answered him. "selena. is there something i could do for you?" i saw him smirked and said "me" i quickly let go of his hand. eww! what a perv.

"sorry no can do" i said while packing my things up. i need to leave. ugh.

"wait wait" he stopped me. "i was just kidding" i sighed and nodded. "what is it that you want?" i asked with irritation. he just shrugged. "i have classes. bye" i stood up and left. that guy was creeping me out.

i was walking down the hallways as i felt someone grabbed me. this person pulled me into a room and covered my mouth. hah. it was taylor. she did the right thing with covering my mouth. i was about to scream.

"sshh. it's just me" she hissed.

"what do you want?" i asked. these people are starting to irritate me.

"you're the girl who's always with joe right?" i nodded. "well. i was wondering if you could uhm.. bring him to my party tonight?" huh? him? bring him? does this mean i have to come? "and yeah you're coming. so please? bring joe? i.. i kinda like him." wow this girl can read my mind. still.. "please? here's the address" she handed me a piece of paper and a check. "shop if you must for a new outfit. just don't forget joe. thank you" then she left. weird.
