@cburns1689 Perkins didn't even make the NBA Finals with the Mavericks in '87...The Mavs didn't reach the Finals until 2006.

ya.... i disagree with youre center not getting rebounds- Seattle used Kemp as the rebounder and Perkins was a matchup nightmare- without Sam Perkins the Sonics dont make it to the Finals. You do realize every team Perkins was on made the NBA Finals- Dallas Mavericks in 87, Lakers in 91, Sonics in '96 and Pacers in '00- his final season. but i get what youre sayin- Det struggling had a lot to do with going against Scottie Pippen though... Pippen did that to a lotta all stars
