it's not a black carp it's fish called amur I think that on English is called grass carp (Latin Ctenopharyngodon idella). And they are striking rods to hard... :). But the fish looks beautiful healthy and strong.

thats not a buffalo carp, i have no idea what it is tho?? these guys seem like amateurs to me, there should be no reason to strike the rod like that, if using bolt rigs the carp will already be hooked, and if using a running rig they shouldnt be that far away from the rods! still good fish. well done
