Here's my home made contraption. For less then $40.00 I built my own pig roasting spit that spun by itself. Took about 5 hours to roast and 6 bags of charcoal. Pig was perfectly roasted. Everyone tore up the skin with a quickness. This was done in my back yard on labor day weekend of 2009.
