This a transfer of Columbia ML 4121, a monaural LP with two works by Tchaikovsky.
First, the Philadelphia O under Eugene Ormandy perform the Serenade op. 48.
Be forewarned: Ormandy makes a severe cut in the Finale!
So much of the music is gone that I almost wonder why he bothered playing the piece at all.
Oh well - the other three movements are played in a charmingly old-fashioned way by the great Philadelphia strings.
Part 2 - Valse: Moderato; Tempo di valse
Part 3 - Élégie: Larghetto elegiaco
