I'm glad to hear you're okay Phil, save for having to deal with a really rude, self-absorbed guy. Some people are like that. They have anti-social personality disorders and they are incapable of caring for another person.
Your car might be fixable, if you just need suspension parts. If the bottom of the engine is trashed, well that would be expensive. As far as cars go, it's possible to fix almost anything, given enough time, effort and money. But is it worth the time, effort and money?
