Gangsta government.... definitely ... money is being stolen ... day after day after day .. And those words are TRUE ... Dont give me this idea that anytime someone disagrees about with POTUS.. they are encouragin murder ... Look at Wisconsin UNION protests if you want to talk about that!

Your Canadian? I bet your about to crap over where your going to go for medical treatment when Obama-care kicks in, huh? My sympathies about that. I have family in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. They have had many problems with socialized medicine. Rest assured though, we will vote many of these socialist progressives out on their asses in November and reverse this decline. Tea Partiers accept farm subsidies? Reagan raised taxes? Obama expanded gunrights!?!?! Damn! What planet do YOU live on? For the record, I am ini TOTAL agreement about ANY farm subsidies. And I, as do most tea partiers, loathed any Bush power grabs. They were simply un-constitutional and should be challenged. I think that anger over that has helped fuel the Tea Party's outrage. Your statement about gunrights is appallingly ignorant. Google it.

The bottom line is this: The Constitution is a document that is more about what the Government CAN"T do to you than it is a document about what it CAN do for you. All you are promised is a chance to be unimpeded in your quest for life, liberty and your pursuit of happiness. NONE of this was EVER intended to be guarenteed to ANYONE! That is the ONLY way it will ever work and be fair.

@robert7232 Then why does Bachman happily accept farm subsidies from the Federal Gov't? Why don't Tea Partiers opt out of all those entitlement programs? Whis is Reagan their hero when he raised taxes 6 times and expanded government? Why didn't they oppose the Bush Admin seizing power at the executive level and his expansions of government? Why are the protesting about 2nd amendment rights when the current Admin has expanded gun rights?

People are simply sick and tired of others sstanding around waiting for the government to "send them a check". What Tea Partiers REALLY want is a return to self-reliance that made America great in the first place. Sure, some people need extra help at points in their lives but we are conditioning people to have NO personal responsibility for their actions. Everyone thinks they are entitled to a living and that they shouldn't have to work for it.

@hollygolightly66 If you think that high taxes are all the Tea Parties are upset about then you haven't been paying attention. The number one reason is the creation of an entitlement society that big govt. types somehow believe will be payed for by borrowing more and more money. The second most important reason is the HUGE amount of ever increasing federal beureacracy that is ruling EVERY aspect of our lives.
