  • any one else think that linux is hot.

  • linux users are all nerds

  • internet users definitely are stupid... real computer users aren't...

  • I have a pc with windows 7 and another with highly modified ubuntu! Im happy with both of them. My netbook has linux, and it does the job! The point is use whatever you need and are comfortable with, explore different things but stop criticizing others choice [except when he has a mac :P, jk].

  • @Krisando

Why not use both and get both benefits? That's what I decided to do instead of argue about it all the time.

But in any case, I don't understand why you think Windows is so poorly developed. Seems pretty okay to me, since everyone develops for it.

  • @123IOWNALL321

Windows is terribly developed, not really standard compliant, not well designed and not well put together. Linux is just brilliant in each aspect, it gives you the flexibility to make it anything you want it to be.

  • Leopppard!

  • @123IOWNALL321 I think we can both agree there.

  • @LordDestros

...But in any case, I think it's safe to say that while Windows and Linux are pretty well-developed. Maybe not perfect, but pretty damn good.

  • @123IOWNALL321 Well in that specific hypothetical example, if you weren't hired by that company (IBM in that case) how would you know about the vulnerability they want patched? Sure there are white hats who do attempt to make vulnerabilities well known so that they may be patched but corporations typically don't wish to publicize flaws in their own products before they are fixed.

    "That sounds...."

The basic operations behind different types of hired developers aren't all that different.
