Filming has already begun and knowing the film industry, they will now sail along at due course. So for us, if there is one thing were people can hit them and they will get the message it's the thing that Hollywood's religion: Their Wallets!

However, a simple boycott text petition would not do for us. It's one thing when a bunch of random anonymous people on the internet posts on some back end fan forum that they will not see the movie. It's another thing entirely when someone has a real name and face attached to that and it's publicized on the internet and the news.

The Last Airbender Video Boycott, is quite simply all of you guys and a YouTube page. I have a candid formal Boycotting statement that people will record them self's reading; revealing their race, first name and location. The statement declares that they will not see the movie when it hits theaters next year and thus they have lost money from one of their potential customers. These videos will then be send to me were I will upload them to our new boycott YouTube page debuting this Friday.

Over time, more and more videos will be up on our page. We will also link to other videos such as presentations, rants and other things on video about the Avatar World and how bad Paramount is screwing up the film.

When enough videos are collected, I will take them and edit them together into one rapid-fire viral video that will be sent to my friends who work in national newspapers and TV news channels.

The whole point of this project is to communicate to Paramount, M. Night and others working on the film that the fans of the Avatar show are a very diverse multi-racial and multi-cultural community. And that by offending this community, they have lost ticket sales from this group in return. Filming has already begun and knowing the film industry, they will now sail along at due course. • I love her accent!!!!! She's cute too.

  • @iKorie Lol Yeah he probly wont see me or jess or shauna :D But he can try :D and fail <3

  • @Spriggan107 That's the point, i am indian too! I am really pissed off with the director

  • @gsvkck

No No, change your comment to you are not of color. The majority of those blind to racism still alive are white people. It's called white privelage. They don't know about racism, because they're not affected by it.

I am referring to the people who are in denial of racism.

  • @kungfooed I think it's just personally harder for you to see the point because you're not Asian, and don't understand the frustration behind the cause. This isn't an isolated case, Hollywood has been doing it for close to a century now. They've had white actors painted their face black, to play black roles. They taped their eyes to play Asian roles. I think you should take your child to see the movie though, she's a kid and should be able to enjoy it.

  • @rapoosog you have may praise good sir for everyone to screw themsleves This is an actual fact after i saw the movie it is true.( the only bad thing is there weren't any girls at the southern air temple and they also shaved thier heads, in the movie she had hair.) but yes all this liniage and race alignment you speak of is true. And there is more than one black guy(Geatsu) there was a tribe in the earth kingdom of black skinned benders.

  • @Kailenrulzu I think this controversy will die down after a few months. Most of the people who say they are boycotting the film will end up seeing it out of no other reason than curiosity. My duaghter wants to see the film. She is Amerasian. She doesn't care about the race of the characters. She is seven years old. She also wants to be Katara for Halloween. I think this has gotten way to blown out of proportion. People have become way to senstive over these matters nowadays.

  • @Spriggan1 Well hold on. Nikelodeon had to approve the project before Night started. So Night would not have made the film with the cast he did without their approval. If you want to be mad at someone, I think you should start with Nick itself. But it's offensive becuase it didn't have the color of people you expected to see in it, or because the leads are played be white people? To be honest the Ahnng, Sokka, and Katara in the show didn't look Asain to me anyway. Their clothes did not them
