McCallum AB0's - Strike-In

This is my brand new set of McCallum AB0's, which I set up on my own.
I have been playing for 2 months on a practice chanter and 2 days on this full set of pipes.

After watching some videos on how to strike-in, I decided to try it out for myself.
Please leave comments on how I'm doing, whether its done properly, and any suggestions for future attempts.

Only 2 months on a practice chanter an you are on the bagpipes? Do you have a tutor?

Really? Sweet! I'm in the same pipe band lol. I just started and on my second class they moved me up to Beginer 2. One of the instructors (Chelsea) Told me about you. You are the guy that made a set of bagpipes out of plasic right? Anyways, I can't wait to get on the pipes. It only took u 2 months in the beginer lessons and they let u in the grade 5 band?

HAHA small world huh? But yeah I am the one who created the PVC pipes for my school

project. Are you in the beginner 2 class atm?

I was in the beginner 1 class for a week, then they kicked me up to beginner 2 the next week, and on the 22nd i got kicked up to the gr4 band. We only have like 7 pipers though...i dont even know who the drummers are yet XD

So you were in the grade 5 band for 1 year and this year u got in the grade 4 band? How long were you in beginer 2 till u got kicked up to the grade 5 band?

no i was never in the gr 5 band (there was no RMM5 last year).

I started in march in beginner 1, then moved into beginner 2 until the end (in june)

then this september i moved up to gr 4

only 2 months on chanter?? i heard of a guy who got to his pipes in 10 days, took me close to a year

@MacDonald989 I played chanter for 2 months as well, then I ordered my pipes. I'm still learning on the chanter, and I play the songs I know well on the bagpipes. I still haven't learned all the movements there are to learn, but I enjoy playing the pipes with the songs I know.
