  • I actually think that Drew's Statler sounds a lot like Richard's.

  • @MichaelBrookham Yes, its very very close. But the personality of the character isn't quite right...

  • Where do you get your info on the performers?

  • @coolifyou Internet.

  • Am I the only one who noticed that after Jim Henson died that Statler and Waldorf's looks changed slightly? They (especially Waldorf) look like they have their hair slicked back and are balder at the top. Waldorf's face looks fatter, too. Could they be using different puppets, or could they just have redone the heads?

  • @MichaelBrookham NO! You're not the only one! Believe it or not, the puppets are REBUILT every few years, because the old ones get WORN OUT. And it's usually a different person who builds them each time, so its really difficult to make them look exactly the same as previous versions. This happens with ALL OF THE MUPPETS.

  • May just be me, but I think the old hecklers were less insulting of the show during it's first season, becoming ruder as the series progressed. Yes?

  • I don't know what to say! Statler and Waldorf are freaking cool!!^^

  • Dave and Nelson are oddly enough my favourites since I tend to be biased towards the more popular incarnations. The DOH-HOHOHOHO just has so much more comedy effect than them simply laughing together at the same time.

I would say Jim Henson shifts up to Kermit from time to time when he was Waldorf, I haven't heard Rowlf the Dog too much so I can't comment on that.

As with the other videos, excellent work my friend. =)

  • My view is that the original Statler and Waldorf puppeteers had a sense of humor and timing... something the new voices/puppeteers seem, to me, lack.

  • Has anyone noticed that in the fist computer clip the time their mouth moves is delayed just a bit?
