Don McCullin has produced the most unwatchable pictures of our time. That's a compliment of course. His achievement is immense. I admire McCullin but would not want to be him and to have lived through what he has witnessed. The stark horror of the worst of which mankind is capable is captured in those black and white images. I wish him some peace, some time when he can put away, however briefly, the memories. He's 75 today I believe. Hats off to the man.
