FUN with Target Sticks: Clicker Dog Training

Pamela Johnson spends a lot of her time making free how-to youtube videos on a variety of topics. Some of these include agility, canine freestyle, tricks, behavior modification, puppy training, and cat tricks.

I am a huge fan of the "BIG BANG THEORY" TV show and on Thursday Sheldon & Amy did a skit on "FUN with FLAGS". I thought it would be fun to do a similar episode and call it Fun with Target Sticks.

I added some examples and ideas of regular targeting as well. I should have made this a series and called it fun with targeting, but I didn't. :(

Target sticks can be used in so many ways. I am sure that I did not even cover half of what others use them for. I like to think of them as an extension of my own arm. :) I did not mention that in the video.

Also, for those of you that are fans of the Big Bang Theory, you might have noticed that I tried really hard to speak fast like Sheldon does. However, I am not sure if I pulled it off. LOL!

Anyway, I hope you did enjoy this fun, silly, serious, tutorial on using target sticks.

Great ideas!! I wanna start with target practicing with my dogs! And wow I never knew how big bandit was! On two legs he's like the size of you!

@MissBluWinter BOTH, HAHA! I am 5'2" and my BCs are 22-23 inches tall. Bandit my taller boy has really fluffy fur and it makes him look even taller. :)
