  • Well, the movie shows how corrupt democracies break down, that's the lesson...He becomes a noble and virtuous dictator, after being "Gabrielized," whereas he was previously a corrupt politician on the take. So it is up to a virtuous people to maintain their freedom. It was "the people" that went to the speakeasies and made the gangsters rich. There's nothing new here that wasn't in Alexander and Augustus...Read "The Nine Commentaries on the CCP" and don't let the Chinese buy our debt!
