In the documentary series "the next world" Nitzan Horowitz goes on a quest around the world searching for the trends and people that are influencing the world today and will help shape the world in the next 20-30 years. In the episode about India he met the founder of The Art of Living fondation Sri Sri Ravi Shankar - a spiritual leader and a unique person that is working to create a stress free, violence free world and is an inspiration for hundreds of millions worldwide. This video shows a rare meeting of Israelis, Arabs and Iranians that spent a month together during a special program in the Art of Living international center in Bangalore, India and developed deep friendships. People are in the gutter. They're in a rut. They're buried in problems and filth. Yet we expect them to come out of it as ably as the most wealthy. This I believe is unreasonable. It's true that a poor person in america can become rich and famous, however, it's an unrealistic expectation that only serves the most wealthy and famous of us. To ignore the parts of our world that're the most desperate and deprived, is to open ourselves up to those problems, to give those problems a place to grow.
