@afterthefox7 Thanks, dude, I appreciate the feedback. Without these guys putting these vids up, a lot less people will know how to get out there and have fun. The other side of the coin tho, is that everyone has a differing opinion as to how to get out there, and what to do once you're out there . Only experience can make up for lack of knowledge.
If only I had a video camera. Then I'd put my own vids on Youtube. Wouldn't that be a blast?!!

The only time setting a tent on grass makes a negative impact is when you are at that spot for longer than two days. Then the grass dies off through lack of sunlight. Otherwise, yes, put your tent on bare ground.
As for carrying out the poop in a baggie? Forget it! Bury the stuff six inches down. (See The Silverfox's vids, he's a crackup, but real sensible with it).

Not walking on the grass? PuhLeez.! These environmental wackos go to far. I'm for proper management of these areas. Icluding game populations, endangered species, etc. I'm not for staying off of the grass and carrying poop out in a baggie.
