Music video "Your Smile" was the third single from René & Angela's album, Street Called Desire 1986 "Your Smile" was the duo's second number-one single on Billboard's R&B chart. It was also a minor hit on the Hot 100 peaking at number forty-seven . Along with the track, " Drive My Love", "Your Smile" was minor hit on the U.S. Dance chart, peaking at number forty-seven.

yeah yeah, I'll stop annoying you all - but for those few who really get into that last part of 'your smile' there's a similar thing going on in the last third of Teena Marie's Portugese Love. I have no musical education so I don't know what to call it - lots of soulful voices and instruments ...??!!!

Agreed! this is in my top five tunes of all times. The video is no doubt a bit of a let down - but if you turn the lights down, and settle in to this tune - ther'es nothing better - and the last thirty secs!!!!

@str8outtatexas1 We have to face that the world has changed :( we can see that each & every day when you pick up a newspaper or when turn on the TV..I too miss this music, I stay listening to Old School 70's - 80's..Motown, Chitown, Philly all had music that was off the chain & thankfully we have it saved so we can reminisce on good times & what GOOD MUSIC USED TO BE..Let's just face it; tdy's music is NOT in the same category....c/n even come close to jams such as this...true classic soul..

This woman sang this song as a tribute 2 her grandmother & as a child being raised by a strong blacktino woman I kno!!! But nothing beats her SMILE!!! Angela Winbush beat cancer & her voice still remains the same BEAUTY IS HER NAME!!! I kno 1 woman that can imitate her perfectly & that is my auntie Deborah Harris...Amen but that voice has been in my life ever since I cud hear in the womb!!!
