The loud sound would be bad in the jungle in Vietnam. But you know, just for a personal usage is a good idea, great structural build and nice custom sights. Keep up the good work! P.S. what ammo does it use? Looks like it'd pack a punch!

@AusVietnamesePride It's not much louder than the average rifle, not enough to make a difference, unless you are close and not wearing hearing protection. It fires the 5.56mm (.223 caliber), standard cartridge for the AR15(M16, M4). Thanks for the compliments.

@max031189 I'll have to get back with you on that question. I bought so many parts that I could build two more. I haven't sat down yet and itemized the parts.

Yes, it is the YHM comp/brake. I love it, causes the carbine to have almost no recoil.
