good expression :) i practice animation too but i have trouble keeping the objects the same size. would you have any tips or principle rules that i don't know about?
I used to have the exact same problem, theres nothing you can do but practise im afraid, use characters that ar'nt too hard, make things abit easier, then when your confident move onto something new :)
When drawing the character always draw what their thinking, if they are very charactured use some squash and stretch, if their more human and need to be believable keep them much more suttle and straight :)
