  • "Do you mingle with the men?"

You are so right, Freddowasher!!! :D Poor David - he's dying up there!

  • 6:00 was it intended that Conway blow the timing of his phonecall?

  • 4:08 Conway's great little digs at Janssen.

  • he came into his own with Harry O until then he was in a fairly tight straight jacket

Dean Martin and he would have made great dinner companions both had some of the best off the cuff humor of any and I mean surpassing Robin Williams and Jonathon Winters simply because they was more reality to their mumbling

sorely sorely missed senor Jannsen Harry O is still easily the high water mark of TV detectives nobody close leave Harry O out of the list and it proves you just dont know TV

  • @doctornoooo Interesting you mention Zerbe - in APB Harry Orwell the opening dialogue between Janssen and Zerbe was the famous peanut butter scene - Janssen ad-libbed Harry O and Lt. Trench eating crackers with peanut butter. That happened with some frequency on that show.

  • Janssen certainly did not display his comedic talents that frequency given the roles he played, but when he had opportunities to do so, such as in My Six Loves and to a mild extent in Harry O, he showed great ability. Behind the scenes he was always cracking Jimmy Durante impressions; the late Suzanne Pleshette was particularly close to him and they would exchange barbs that had film crews laughing.

  • Janssen is right up .there with best ever made

  • "There's the phone ..." I'm guessing the sound effects guy missed his cue.
