@joblessalex Your country never entered a country to protect. They might say it but you know they do it for the oil... and it's stealing oil. They get away with it just because they're the superior country at this moment. For example when iraq attacked kuwait, Kuwait asked help from america... they responded by an oil contract to help. But when America actually attacks in the name of so called"Freedom" but they go for stealing oil. Who are we going to ask help from? No body.

@joblessalex Hand to hand combat is rare with today's weapons and technology, that is an older format of fighting. In the rare case that hand to hand combat does occur, and the terrorist were to somehow attempt to pull the body armor off, it would take the enemy a great deal of effort to do so and in that time the soldier would react. It's impractical. The quick release system is in front of the plate carrier. Plus, if the terrorist got close enough to tough the body armor, he'd shoot the head.

@joblessalex Uhm, typically soldiers will have other gear which would refrain a terrorist from taking it off, and terrorist typically dont get too close to soldiers. you are the idiot.

i understand the concept of quick release but jesus right in the middle of the chest. i mean how many times are they going to need to rip it off. personally i think they shouldve placed it on the side or back area. its harder to get too yes but its also not in the way for them.
