how is the sound quality for these subwoofers?is it comparable to memphis or alpine subs? does it have alot of rattle and blairing or is it clear and clean?

My buddy has a Type R in his car, and whenever he listens to my car he talks about how much he loves the sound. It sounds very clean and low. I'd relate the sound more to Alpine then Memphis because my cousin likes his Memphis' and the tones just seem different. Yes, they do cause some decent rattle to my car but I have dynamat extreme all aorund my trunk.

Also when you listen to the subs outside the car with the trunk open, you can't even tell they're playing it's just air displacement.

yeah man the sound quality of pioneer premiers are unbelievable. i currently have one with another in the mail and it never fails to amaze me with its loud and clean bass. worth every dime

nice system, I just bought one of these subs and im pairing it with a jbl gto 1201.1 (1114 wrms @ 2 ohm @ 12v, or 1339wrms @ 14.4 @ 2 ohm) in a 2 cubic foot L ported box tuned to 35hz, amp will be wired with 4 awg and sadly cant do the big three, will be a in celica, will be loud?

yo, I have the exact same headunit..

How did you set the "user" eq settings? Is there a way to lower the speaker bass in the car? Some headunits have speaker bass settings, but this one does not. I cant find good tuning for my L7 subs without my 6x9's and door speakers getting killed/overpowered with bass.
