GE Foundation announced on Jan 19, 2011 that it will provide $20.4 milion in Developing Futures grant funds over the next five years to Milwaukee Public Schools. MPS will use the funding for math and science. Speakers in the video include emcee Eric Gallien, who is principal of MPS' Morse - Marshall School for the Gifted and Talented. They also include the President and CEO of GE Healthcare Americas Marcelo Mosci, and the GE Foundation's Director of US Education Programs Kelli Wells. Also speaking is MPS Superintendent Gregory Thornton and Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. The event took place at Morse - Marshall in front of an invited audience of approximately 250 community members, business partners and others.
