  • i have all 3d option blocked (gray)

  • It could be one of two reasons.

    - you're not using Photoshop CS4/5 Extended

    - if you're using Photoshop CS4/5 Extended, your video card may not be supported

If you have a video card that's capable of using OpenGL and 3D, you may need to re-install your video card drivers.

  • My video card is outa date )=

  • what have you got?....what I have right now is an ATi HD4670 which is between an nVidia 9500 and 9600.

But before, up until around November last year (which is when I upgraded) I had an ATi X1650 Pro which is around the same as an nVidia 7600.

    =)

  • 1.5 gb ram

    Nividia GeForce FX 5500

I take pretty good care of my computer so it has lasted... p.s. it's a modded (A few neon lights XD) 2003 model with some 2007 hardware on it. (Very little)

  • Yeah, I used to have that video card before upgrading...It's probably time to upgrade for you. lol

I'm guessing you're still using AGP since PCI-E wasn't around 5500 era, I'm still using AGP myself...can't afford to build a new system.

The HD4670 is THE best card out for that slot and it's worth saving up for if you can...the PowerColor version cost me around $70...DX10.1, shader 4.1, openGL 2.1

    HD4670 PCS 1Gb DDR3 AGP + Intel E7500 3.16Ghz (overclocked) = $178 + few more years gaming. XD

  • Plus, the HD4670 is better than nVidia GeForce 9500GT, close to a 9600 and cheaper than both so you'd get more bang for your buck. =)

  • @LordReserei01 thank you

  • Easier way to do this: from the original coloured path, just use 3D-mesh from gray-scale and then voila.
