wow I remember doing this dance when I was a little girl. My dad was stationed in Guam and we had a culture class that we had to take and one of the things they showed us how to do was the Bamboo dance. Its really simple but requires you to stay on beat. if you have two sticks maybe the length of yard sticks place them on the ground side by side but with enough space for your feet to be in them 2 people hit the sticks on the ground with the beat of down down up and on up the sticks close

kind of like jumping rope when the sticks are on the down down part both feet are in by the time they get to up you are on the other side of the sticks kind of like in in out in in out. You start on one side and end up on the other Oh well this really brought back memories cause as a kid this was fun!! thank you for sharing!
