Whither saqi thou wend thy way, Saqi, come and grace this place, Why demure,why delay, Pick the flask,serve the ale, Pick the flask,fill the cup, Let me drink,and drink it up. Towards the garden turn your gaze, What a beauteous scene prevails! With sable clouds gathering fast.................&so on.

With sable clouds gathering fast
The sky is getting overcast
It seems a crowd of revellers bold
Is marching to tavern doort,o
Why this doubt,O doubting man
Think not I am weak or wan
By thought piety untung
I'm as yet rather young.

all my brothers and sisters in pakistan,malika pukharaj was there in pakistan.it means we have left our culture there.this is the greatest voice of our heritage.we in india love you because you had this great voice.it belongs to you ,and to all of us staying in the wind shadows of the great himalayas. we are not enemies but brothers,and sisters.we are bound together by malika pukharaj,kundanlal saigal,noor jahan,abida parvin,kaifi azami,faiz ahmed faiz,and the like.
