Wow protest area? That is a bit sad.

I can understand protecting the president and keeping things safe.

Alex, you do not NEED PERMISSION TO PROTEST. This is America. We don't need permission to speak. I am getting sick and tired of not only the law enforcement supported encroachment of the federal government on our civil liberties, but also the ignorance and complacency of many citizens who have allowed such an encroachment. Don't fucking tread on me.

except for remaining peaceful, then BY DEFINITION there are no provisos to be satisfied if you are to exercise your first amendment rights. there are no designated protest zones. you do not need permissions to protest. the police directly violated that girl's first amendment rights.

i gotta say, what a fighter, though, she was. that fellow in the beginning hit it spot on; what's the point of having free speech to petition the government if the effect of the protest is made void by the police?
