Easiest swap ever.

No Custom mounts, no crazy wiring.

Everything snaps right in.

If you got a front sump 1jz, all you have to do is swap oil pans, and drill out the turbo oil drain.

  • well man i give you thumbs up on ur 2 days, i been looking for another project to start, and im leaning toward the sc, but what is a simple plug and play swap, dont want to really run into alot of problems

  • @kennethbarker Soarer 1jz is literally plug and play. You only have to extend the harness 18", everything snaps in like factory!

  • I hate the 2jzge engine and the stupid intake overlapping design. This car should of had the 1JZ from the start. The GE engine is a dog with POOR gas mileage. I have owned at least 15 MKIV's. I currently own a 92 SC300 5 speed stock with MKIV TT wheels on it. I'm doing the same swap in a week or so if nobody wants the car like it is for $4K. It's really clean, good paint with cloth interior. Well not trying to make this a FS post. Sorry, Good luck and would like to see a vid running.

  • @Supraguy23 I agree the 2jzge is a pig by itself. There are videos of the car running, look at my profile!

  • Aristos never came with 1jzs...... but nice swap breda

  • @313koa Yeah I know. I should of just said "4 door version". Thank you. :)

  • @Supraguy23 agreed the over head intake manifold was stupid. As an engine i cannot hate the 2jzge, yes its a dog with poor gas mileage but trust me she has never let me down. I drove this thing all across florida with every leak possible and she wouldnt stop. It is still a very reliable and durable motor. Don't ever doubt a JZ. N/A or turbo.

  • @Supraguy23 The US got screwed when it came to Japanese sports cars

  • @7mgtesr20det Yup. I TIG welded the banjo fitting shut and blocked off the other line. This engine has 27k miles figured so I figured I can get some time out of it before switching it out..

  • Are you running the stock hydropump? are the lines blocked
