@akichita87 Grandfather Wallace Black Elk lived at Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota.

@akichita87 The man speaking is the late Wallace Black Elk, an Oglala Lakota medicine man (NOT a shaman - the Lakota don't have shamans), and grandson of the famous prophet and holy man Nicholas Black Elk. Grandfather Wallace passed to the spirit world in 2004. I have no idea why he is not given credit or recognition in any of the films Joel Samuel made with him, nor why Samuel called him a "shaman." Grandfather Wallace would roll over in his grave to hear himself called a "shaman"!

God bless you, Lakotah man in this video (and Joelsamuel for sharing). This is true religion. Listen to his wise words at the end how you should pray. If the world had presidents thinking and practising life like this man, this world could be a paradise. Pilamaya. Mitakuye Oasin.
