MIPP DAY SEMINAR - PHOTOGRAPHING A CRISIS, evening TVM prime time news item

On Saturday 18th June 2011, the MIPP organised a one day seminar at the Corinthia San Gorg.

Special guest during this seminar was Mr. Lorenzo Di Pietro from Rome, Italy. Di Pietro is a top freelance photojournalist who has been awarded the first prize in the national Canon Club Italy competition. Mr. Di Pietro has travelled and photographed the journey that migrants pass through to reach Europe. He was later invited and interviewed on the famous Italian programme: "Alle falde dell Kilimangaro" .

The seminar included an interactive forum lead by Sergio Muscat and accompanied by Darrin Zammit Lupi (Times of Malta), Andrew Galea Debono (Human rights lawyer), and Maj. Ivan Consiglio (AFM).
