@lutshow In Brooklyn people pronounce "birds" as "boids OR boydz". The joke is that the first guy thought "boids or boydz" was a totally different thing from "birds". I suppose you really have to have an understanding of how the same words are pronounced differently by English speakers around the world. The second or 'other' guy was merely correcting the first guy's pronunciation of the word "birds". Maybe the joke is too subtle if you're not comfortable with English.
This video reminds me of a joke I once heard. Two Brooklyn guys are sitting on a park bench and the birds are singing . One guy turns to the other and says: "Geez, isn't it just great to sit here and listen to the boids?" The other guy looks at him and says: " Geez, man! Why don't you learn to talk right. Them's not "boids". Them's "birds"!! The first guy looks back at him kinda puzzled and says:
" Birds"?? Geez, man! They sure SOUND like boids to me."
I'm trying to make a huge morphing birdflock using blender. I'ts working out quite nicely but there's one problem. My birds are flapping their wings all at the same time, even though I use 'emit from random'. I can't find the solution. Can anyone help? Thanks

@STUDIOSMACK Use multiple birds, each with offset animation. Assign them to a group and have it render as a group instead of an object.
