Mondo Rock : Love Shock (Countdown 1979)

The first recorded line-up of Mondo Rock - Ross Wilson (vocals), Peter Laffy (guitar), Randy Bulpin (guitar), Tony Slavich (keyboards), Simon Gyllies (bass) and Iain McLennan (drums). This line-up recorded the "Primal Park" LP in 1979 as well as this non-album, non-charting single (minus Slavich). There was then a major split that saw the formation of the more commercially successful line-ups.

The song was a lost part of Mondo Rock's repertoire until a remixed version appeared on the Ross Wilson compilation "Now Listen" in 2001, and the CD reissue of Primal Park in 2009 (http://www.aztecmusic.net).
