lol have u ever riding a pony from a riding stable, from my experiance i would be lucky to keep them in a trot!

but try it frist when ur holding the front of the saddle u did much better than me well geting ur horse going tammy the girl i ride is very stubron and bites kicks so its really hard without a crop =]

yeah i know that horse needed a crop but forgot to bring a crop down ooooops!

thats good for ur 1st or a while.i cant remember my 1st canta :p but i work at a stables so i see a lot of beginners try... umm, its hard to remember everything,try pick 2 points each time you do it. try it on a lunge 1st so u get a feel for it and dont hav to concentrate on steering :p
try: putting ur legs back, more secure)
not lifting ur hands, getting unbalanced)
use ur inside leg on the corners wen askin for a canta, this encourages them to be balanced (correct leg) and makes it smoother
