what's up with the FPS? You should be getting 35+ FPS Average in Crysis Very High at 1920x1080. These two cards in crossfire perform better than a 5850 when overclocked.
-
What the fuck 25 - 30 fps wit two 4850!?, these cards seem to suck.
-
I have a i7 2,66 processor and two 4850, 6gb ddr3 RAM and i get around 50-60 fps on high 2x AA maybe you should update your drivers
-
dude i i saw your specs and im a little worried man....I have a Core15 750 and dual 9800gtx+ SSC. And i get 40-45 with a 1680x1050, all maxed no AA. do you have all your drivers updated

15 fps with a core i7¿? wtf?
-
can i pick of each one of ur pubes 1 buy 1?

I think there's still something from with your gpu's though, with a single 4870 (1GB) i get higher fps than you with two 4850's while you should get about 50% more fps than me.

wolfieeee why are you never on msn anymore!?!?!

I used the default clocks and didnt overclock though, still 500.993 idle and 625,993 ingame i think. not sure about 3d memory clock. But i swear it was that blasted CCC. I'm never using it again.
I use gpuz to check my clocks and temps
Hey did you ever get your 4850's stable?
I can help you if not.
I fixed my artifacting and random screen black out problems

I fixed all my old issues once I set the clock speeds to as low as ATI Overdrive let me, and I set fan speeds to 100%.
After that, no artifacts, no crashes, primary card gets to around 70C on games with a good engine (most non-free games, Source engine is a big one that makes my cards get hot fast)
Eventually I will switch my cards around, that should make my cards run a lot colder.

I fixed all of that nonsence just by uninstalling CCC. The damndest thing i know. But i havent got one artifact or crash since. Even my temps are down, i use GPU-z to check it.
I have the dual slot sapphire version and i get around 48C idle and 60C full load

CCC's Overdrive settings are at the default GPU clock settings, and whenever you are not in a FULLscreen 3d game, it will underclock your cards to the lowest Overdrive setting.
I set my cards to always be on the lowest clock settings Overdrive allows and it fixed everything. Still gets hot but no artifacts or blue screens.
I think your problem was just overdrive overclocking your cards to their default speed, more than your cards are usually at.

Crysis 8xAA max settings 1280x960 = 24 average fps. Ranges between 20 and 30.
Sometimes I just don't use AA with Crysis or I just use 2x or 4x. Still looks good and 25 fps makes the game a little uncomfortable at times.
I think around 40 fps average with no AA, can't really remember.
