@junebaggins I couldn't agree more. I like Dylan a lot, Joan Baez as well (you possibly know her). but Conor's music fills my heart with endless emotion.

but that's just how I feel. if Dylan makes you feel that way that's wonderful.

bright eyes are my favorite band. and they have so many great songs. in fact all of their song are amazing. but whenever I end up listening to Ariennete again, I realize that this definitely is their best song.

Conor's intonation from 2:50 thru the end, absolutely kills me every time i listen to this. Its so raw and harsh, and just overflowing with desperation. I think everyone feel like that sometimes, but its amazing what he can make his pain sound like...medicine for all of us.

@mCanoodles411 Have you heard Ladder Song off his newest album? You are right his older albums were more saturated with dark songs but he has only grown more eclectic since. I enjoy the contrast of dark and light in his newer albums.
