Im with nmacias. I don't understand the purpose of the buttermilk when you're going to rinse off.

@ViriBean The buttermilk mixture is only a brine. It's purpose is to deeply tenderize the meat and make it super moist. Once the turkey has sat in the buttermilk brine, there is no need for it anymore. It has done it's job, so it needs to be rinsed off. Example: Think of it like coloring your hair. You put the coloring in, let it do it's thing and then you rinse it out.
