I dont know what it is , but when I bought my 2010 G35 Coupe here in Canada - ours do not have limiters. Well, in regular shit mode it does..but if you go to Tiptronic shifting or if you had a manual transmission - you could go until the engine exploded. At the track I have my G35 with 101 octant fuel and no passenegers hit 276 Km/hr. You cant even get the new ones to do that because of the limiters. Id never do that again mind you. The engine has incredible pull.

Governor/Limiter/ Stupid Government compliance shit. Very hard to remove. You void all warranties if you do, and if you get in an accident and it is related to speed in anyway - the Insurance company can reject your claim. In reality the G35/ and G37 engines can go much faster. They are designed to protect themselves, hence the way the engine is tuned...and the limiter. My G35 Coupe does not have a limiter.

I'm a bit confused. The g37 gets up to 150 which has 330 hp, but the 96-99' i30 gets up to 160 with 190 hp. Anyone wanna explain this? I'm not a car expert so please don't say "it wont do that dumb shit"
