Among the many new features that arrived with Windows 7, Jump lists was another one of these great little features.

Those of you who are familiar with Windows 7 will know what they are.

Jump lists are like little shortcuts for opening up files or webpages, they are traditionally accessed by right clicking on a programs icon in the taskbar, you will then be displayed with a list of recently accessed files/webpages ( depending on the program ) as well as some preset options ( ie. For iTunes, the jump list will give you an option to go straight to the iTunes store or to search it ) You can also pin certain items to jump lists that you use regularly for quick access.
An alternative way to access jump lists is to:

Left click and hold the icon in the taskbar
Then slide your mouse upwards, and the jump list will slide up.
