I agree about the leaks with the 4.2. Valve covers, cam seals, etc. are often replaced early but those things are easy as cake and take barely any time for yourself and I. They are still pretty much bulletproof engines and repair costs have been a bit lower with the transitions to timing chains, etc.

yea but they are very popular as well but i would expect them too have better engines then like what toyota/nissan can produce
